وَقَالَ الرَّسُولُ يَا رَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِي اتَّخَذُوا هَذَا الْقُرْآَنَ مَهْجُورًا (30)
And the Messenger (ﷺ) has said, “O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur’an as [a thing] abandoned.”
إِنَّ اللهَ يَرْفَعُ بِهَذَا الْكِتَابِ أَقْوَامًا وَيَضَعُ بِهِ آخَرِينَ : (رواہ مسلم)
As the Prophet, Sallallaahu ‘Alayhi wa Sallam, said, “Verily, Allah elevates some people with this book (i.e. the Qur’an) and abases others with it.” [Muslim]
